I started Marlowe Legal after eight years at a large regional firm, where good work too often left clients more confused than when they arrived. Estate plans got drafted, entities got formed, closings happened, but nobody explained what any of it meant. That bothered me.
This practice is the answer: one attorney, a deliberately small caseload, and counsel delivered in plain language. You work with me directly, every call, every document, every decision.

Why a Solo Practice
Larger firms are built for volume: intake teams, paralegal funnels, and hourly clocks. A solo practice is built for attention. I take fewer matters, know every file, and answer my own phone. The trade is deliberate, less throughput, more care.

That is the entire philosophy. Plain language, fixed fees agreed in writing, and a direct line to the person doing the work.
